Nah, but the Audi WAS recovered 8 months later and bought by a guy in north wales. I had an insurance payout so its not all doom and gloom. However I now drive a 1996 1.2 Renault Clio :o/
Thanks for the post Mark but I'm a little confused.
I'm not sure what you mean by you can vouch for me turning up at your workshop with my audi with bits ripped off? I havn't visited you guys since Sept 07 and nothing has ever been ripped off my car. And also not sure what you mean about being...
that's the best news I've heard yet. fingers crossed.
thanks again for the comments fellas, it does make me feel a tad better knowing like-minded individuals understand my loss.
Gav.
PS I keep looking at the empty space in my car park I wondering where it is now...I wish I knew
Thanks JoJo. Should be covered by MRC but unlikely to get back anything like what was spent on the mods. Just have to wait and see...
Anything that you can do to help get wider coverage is appreciated. Cheers.

Guys,
I need your help.
MRC Tuning in Banbury was broken in to on Sunday night and my S3 has been nicked. Reg Y874KAN.
Please keep an eye out for it and report it to Police if you see it. Pictures are in my Garage on this forum. 2001 Silver S3, 19" Mania wheels. Supersprint exhaust...
Thanks fore the reply Gav. It makes perfect sense if I'd just thought about it! No throttle = no fuel...hmmm...I'm obviously a little slow.

VAGCOM results show:
4 Faults...
The alarm box on the s3 is indeed a bu**er to get to. Unlike the very helpful TT tutorial, the S3 takes a bit more work.
I just did mine last night. 4.5 hours. OK, so I'm not a seasoned DIY'er but still it was a job. You really need to take out the rear light cluster as without doing this you...
I had the same thing happen to me on the way to Guilford from Bristol. Ended up taking it to the Audi dealership in Guilford. They ended up wanting nearly £700 pounds :wtf: to replace the broken spring and some other stuff (can't remember now what).
After I said "no way", they refused to put...
Nice one, cheers Jojo.
Last question...did you buy them direct or did you get them from a UK company. I notice if you buy them from the states, they're about half the price that the TTShop are selling them at.

Don't mean to hijack but can you offer any advice also on xenons...
Mine went yesterday. Inner lights work but outer ones not working. Light came up on the dash with the bulb symbol. Does that mean it's just a bulb needs replacing? If so, why did both go out at the same time?!?!? really don't...
