Indeed, you’re absolutely correct the whole middle seat folds down.
However, with it folded down and two child seats in the back it is impossible to access the seat belt buckle.
The kids like to click themselves in, and they (and me!) get very annoyed if they can’t do it!!
Interested to know if the b9 has this hatch through between the rear seats (behind the arm rest).
Have had a look around, and can’t find any info on it.
Does anyone have this? Or have a part number?
Sorry to jump on an old thread.
My A/C has packed up. It wasn’t blowing cold so I did a re-gas myself (I do my own on all cars, no issues so far).
Put in a whole 400g can of gas.
Still no cold air.
Started diagnosis, and I’ve noticed the tell-tale click of the compressor doesn’t...
Sorry, been off here for ages!
Car been back abs forward to garage, again!
Been lots of fun!
Very long story short, the new Master cylinder arrived and was fitted. But the juddery braking remained.
The mechanic spoke to Audi to try and figure the issue and it transpired that there’s been a run...
Sorry for late reply.
Car has been back and forward to the garage.
This issue has been traced to the master cylinder. The mechanic believes the issue is down to the brake fluid renewal process, whilst bleeding the brake system and brake pedal. We agreed that it was unlikely the abs unit...
My A4 is due an oil change, and I like to do these things myself.
Just wondering if anyone has used one of those hand pump style system thingies where you feed the tube in through the dipstick?
Are they too good to be true?!
Easy to remove, I don’t really know. I’ve taken them off on older cars, but didn’t look into this time.
Yes the car needs to be off the road whilst it’s done.
My preference was to have a pro do it. It was ‘only’ a couple of hours labour for a garage to do it, them being the experts.
Seems like a recurring issue Audi need to solve!
Mine has recently been sorted by ECU testing. My local garage sorted the removal and replace. £420 all in.
Crap that we have to do it, but better than £2500+
Getting to the point where my brakes need attention, and like many other times I feel the itch to do this myself!
I’ve found lots of guides/vids on how to to B7/B8, but nothing for B9.
Has anyone done theirs?
I’m confident enough that I know the process for the fronts, but the...
Just checked their website, and at the top of the A4 issues list is this one...
...so it seems like they’re on the ball with our issue!
Thanks Matt. A garage replaced my module and sorted everything they could.
Thanks for the info, I’ll give ECU testing a shout.
Do you have a reference or something that i could quote to help them understand my issue is the same as yours?
Catching up with this after busy few months.
So, I’ve had my module replaced, which solved the initial braking issue I had. The car now brakes witching normal operating parameters.
But, I still have the red warning and error in dash each time the car starts.
Matt - do I read this...
