40k ago for belt. So did the later car have some revisions to help with the sludge issue? Id clean out the sump but I know these are a pain to do. Half leather seats , s-line etc.
It has the usual rusty front wings. I was originally thinking a Tdi but would prefer a petrol if its not...
Folks, going to look at a 1.8T 190bhp avant 2004 at the weekend with 120k miles on it.
Its been serviced every 10k miles or less for the last 7 years and I know about the sludge build up but how many people have actually had an issue with it?
Other than the sludge build up and the usual coil...
Well it looks like my starter motor is on its way out. Anybody know what the part number is or a good place to get one from as Im sure Audi will be hooooring expensive.
Is it shared between any other cars?
B6 S4 by the way.
Is there anywhere that sells MTM Bimoto wheels reps? I had an S3 a few years back that had a set and would like to find another set but Ive never seen any since.
Would love originals but not the price.
Im thinking that there must be a common feed for most things and a split where I can tap in as I cant see how I would need to extend the wiring.
When you say RHS do you mean drivers or passengers side?
Bolted up my towbar at the weekend and started to look at fitting the smart relay last night and hit a snag. The wires from the smart relay do not seem long enough to reach either side of the car. I can tap into one side of the rear lights but wont be able to reach the other side.
Ive done a fair few sets before and followed this process.
1. Sand down the marks,
2. Sand again then use etch primer as quick as possible.
3. High build primer and sand back. Sometimes 2 coats.
4. Paint - min 2-3 coats.
5. Lacquer soon after - again 2-3 coats but not to thick as it goes...
Blueflame only do one for the smaller engines. The growing is just awhat stainless does when hot, theres nothing you can do about that. Millteks do seem to be a bit love / hate hit or miss but from the photos and vids Ive seen they sound the best and sit the best on the car.
