I have just read that the airbag could be an issue as b6 's are single while B7 's are dual.it will be interesting to see if someone has been successful with this bit .

Aha I see .Sounds pretty much straight forward. I was hoping to get the parts cheap , if not then might as well upgrade to a new b7 like you say. What about the steering? I would definitely like to upgrade it for the time being
