Forgot to say, interior lights and dash stay lit at full brightness when lights on, independent of scroll wheel position for dimming. Fault won't clear.
Installed HBA mirror today, had to change gateway and add powertrain CAN bus to the mirror plug. It works after coding, but my white cluster does not show the HBA icon, only blue high beam when activated.
Anyway. I have a persistent fault code after the BCM swap. I've already tried two dimmer...
It's software related AFAIK. SW 575 and 615 do not support this function, and according to Micha's blog this byte/bit has another function which is why coding is accepted. Older units can apparently be updated: TPI 2021271 (SVM Code 09A001) and TPI 2029738 (SVM Code 09A008).
@Troubs12 Thanks. I...
Did the swap this weekend. I'd say it's a two-day job, depending on previous experience with retrofitting. LHD vehicle, early 2009 facelift with CECM/CC and bixenon.
Did not disassemble the car as much as shown earlier in this thread. I removed luggage compartment side panels and floor, rear...
This is one of the absolute favorite modifications to my Audi A3 8P!
Audi Sound Plus, OEM sound upgrade from Alpine. Highly recommended! It's available both from Audi and Alpine, with different part numbers. The Audi-kit comes with speaker emblems as well.

This was a complete retrofit of the OEM webasto heater with remote control. So it's not a readily available kit. I've spent a few weekends gathering information and part numbers. It's a bit of a job, but I really missed the feature from my 8R Q5, so I went ahead and did it.
Webasto has a...
They are the manufacturer, and retailers rebrand the product. In Norway, it is branded NorDAB. The RNS-E version is listed here. It is called JRDAB-02.
Suwtec in Germany.
Car-tronic in Poland
There's no buffer time on the Juna solution, and it displays DLS. But maybe the Dension unit has gotten better on buffer times since I tested it back in 2016 on my previous car (link).
Retrofitted original Webasto parking heater / auxiliary heater to my MY09 1.9 TDI with BLS engine code. Decided to install the N279 coolant shut off valve as well to heat up cabin faster (cold climate in Norway). It is a complicated install, but not impossible! After coding, everything works...
Don't forget the AMI simulating interface as I referred to in this post:

It is very OEM-like. And works flawlessly.
The grey 32 pin is probably your AUX. It can be repinned to the quadlock according to the wiring diagram on top of the concert.
The blue fakra is GPS antenna. Not in use for the concert.
And as stated in my previous post, you need to jump D15 to D16 to fire up the concert HU.
What two extra plugs are you referring to? The concert unit needs +12v on the Quadlock plug corresponding to D16 on the RNS-E.
Random picture from Audizine, red circle around the mentioned pin.
