Are you still using Red Stuff pads? What discs are you running out of interest. I've got a 3.0 TFSI, need new pads & discs all round and about get it mapped up to 420ish bhp by MRC so If figure I better get the brakes done first!

Price aside, the best I’ve had in recent years are the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Incredible grip in summer and to be honest we don’t really get winters anymore, just rain which they’re fine with.

20mm is too much in my opinion . I’ve had 10’s and 15’s on both A6 and A7. They both looked good.

Super late reply! I had 15mm spacers all round on my old one, looks great. Will be doing the same when I pick up the new one this week.

Thanks John. Carbon would be lovely but a bit pricey for me and that’s without the centre console trim which is the main bit I’m after. I might go for this if I can find a matching ashtray / sliding compartment (not sure what that bits actually called)...

I have a broken lid on my front cup holder, also one of the 'clips' that hold the cup in place is rattling so I want to replace the whole unit. Plenty available on ebay - just wondering if anyone has any knowledge as to what actually needs to be removed to get to the 5 screws that hold it it...

I just sold an A7 before I got the A6 - 2013 and the ali trim was like new. The 2017 A6 black edition is a different story! the ali is so much more durable. I personally think it looks classier as well and brightens up the cabin

Just out of interest, is the car a Quattro? My brain tells me that the spacers should be the same size all round on a 4 wheel drive car but happy to be told otherwise as I don’t really know! I just put 15’s on mine all round and they look great. I think spacers are the greatest cheap upgrade...
