After a B6 Door Handle Cover

So my driver's door handle cover has come off and I don't know where it is. Have a few questions... Will anyone fit (Avant cab saloon?) on my cab? As long as it is drivers door? I've seen its a common problem, should I bother with the spring clip or just bond it on? Anyone breaking a b6 or have...

Am I strange that I want it to rain?

So, don't get me wrong, I love my clean car. The black looks so good when it is clean. However, after a day or 2, I want it to rain just so I can see the sealant doing its job. I know the rain and wet roads is what brings the dirt and sticks to the cars, but I just love beading!!! Am I the...

What to do for shade, gazebo?

Hi guys, As we all know you shouldn't polish or wax in direct sunlight, and washing can be a problem on bright sunny days. Was thinking of getting a gazebo for the sunny days, and went into halfords and they have one for £50 (down from £75), which I think isn't a bad price. You guys use them...

Sticking a boot lip spoiler on car, take sealant off?

Hi guys, I have one of those boot lip spoilers that sticks to the car. It uses the 3M tape, and the ones I've seen stkick quite well. My question is; the surface needs to be as clean as possible, but is that without any sealant or wax? Will I need to strip the wax and sealant to afix the...

Removing overspray from aluminium mirrors (s4 b6)

Hi all, hope you're all well. Have a little bit of overspray on the s4 mirrors, and was wondering what, if any, is the best way to get it off. I've asked my friend who has said it may be very difficult, and to just leave it. But after a bit of research the mirror is lacquered, and I should be...

    Recommend me a car vacuum.

As the title really, what would you recommend for me to vacuum out my car? What do you use? I'm more after mains plug and not a 12v plugged on. And don't want to spend too much, but am open on price. Also want to use it on the roof, as I have a cabriolet. Thanks, Matt.

Change service interval to 5000/6 months on 2005 b6 S4, possible?

Hi guys, just a quick question. Have a b6 s4 cab 2005 (54 plate) and want to change the service intervals to 5000 miles or 6 months. After doing the search I see it is possible with vcds, but I cannot see it. I don't even see the SRI button. I have vcds lite, is this why? Or is that I don't...

    My S4 Cabby Thread

Hi everyone, new to audi ownership, had my S4 cab for about 6 months now, loving it all the time, but even more so with the roof down. Had an Impreza before this, so needed something just as fast, but needed comfort, style and class... This is the motor for me! Pretty stock at the moment...

Cabriolet b7 rear valance on b6 cabriolet.

Hi people. Hoping a simple answer here.. I'm wanting quad pipes on my s4 cabrio, and know I need the b7 rear valance. My question is, is the valance swappable on the cabriolet? I've read so much saying no it doesn't swap over on the b6, however, I've read some threads saying the cabriolet...

Can I fit cruise control? 8E0-953-549-S

My steering module is 8E0-953-549-S, and from this page - http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Cruise_Control_Retrofitting_%288E%29 it says However, I have the 3-Spoke sport wheel. I also have DIS, which works fully. If I do need to change to a new steering module, how easy is it, and...

Windows only open about an inch via fob, & dont close.

As the title suggests, I've added the comfort option to my S4 Cab B6 (2005 54 plate) but they only open about an inch, and the fob can't close them. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and not the correct behaviour? Thanks, Matt (Image shows how much they go down (via fob).

RSN-E Woes: Is this the "normal" ribbon issue?

Hi peeps, new here, been looking around the forums for a couple weeks now, as have taken ownership of a s4 cab 2005 B6 model. Everything is fine with it (well almost everything), but what really annoys me is the RSN-E screen colour. I know it isn't right, but before taking it all apart and...
