So after shopping around, I've found this place, been for a look and it looks spanking, and the reviews speak for themselves, price isn't bad either Full Audi logging of the history too
Hi all.
After searching around various forums trying to find out what is done in a inspection service I can now be sure it has nothing to do with an oil change, it's a big visual check on most of the car! And is really expensive. Just had a price for insp serv and 18k oil service at £388.45 n...
Was having issues with the 4wd not working on the s3, so booked it in at Audi Sheffield. They diagnosed it and the Haldex oil strainer was showing up as blocked. It's been in for the repair work today and all seems fine now. They said they flushed the system twice and replaced the filter and...
Hope you got a good deal out of Sheffield Audi! I have bought 2 s3's off them and had around 12% discount each time, plus a fair few things thrown in ect. There a decent bunch.
I thought the Haldex would work better that is does tbh, it says it's capable of sending a big chunk of power to the rear, but I've never experienced that In over 10k miles. Maybe mine is broken
Launched my s3 earlier today on a rather wet road and it really didn't like it, the front wheels just spun up hard! Then the power just totally cut for a second or two then I had drive as normal, foot flat to floor whilst this was happening. It's doing this before its getting out or first gear...
No dyno as yet, it's definetly night and day power wise, the torque feels incredible. I've been told the revo or Apr stage one feels a little stronger, as to expect from a true remap but for what it is, it's perfect for me.
Fitted the jb1 tuning box yesterday evening, It was really easy to fit and the fittings look decent quality. I went for a 15 min drive to settle the box in as advised and my good god, it pulls so hard now! Even in 4th it pulls hard! Gear changes feel significantly quicker too! nothing as been...
The reason I say it's feels faster is because it is faster, town driving feels a lot faster! After all, you don't slam the manual up and down the gears in everyday driving do you? That's what you'd have to do to make it as quick as the s tronic. Is that a fair point or not guys?
Sorry for late reply bud.
The s tronic is so so much better than the msnaul in my eyes! Takes some getting used to tho, you really do have to learn how to drive one.
I had the standard s3 suspension on my manual and I hated it, it skipped and hopped over anything that wasn't silk smooth! I...
