I'm not sure about the tuning as mine is pretty standard, just a different air filter on mine and an uprated intercooler. I have read that people upgrade the brakes but most I believe keep them standard but put lower springs on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would say that the RS3 is definitely a different animal than the S3, the power delivery is totally different, the RS is surprisingly torquey compare to an S and a tuned S, as I really didn't like the S models I have driven as they seemed like you were constantly fighting to stay in the power...

I think the only way you are going to be able to compare them is to test drive one. The EVO is a totally different beast, the RS3 in my opinion is the better all-rounder, the EVO is more track and race focussed The RS3 can be a monster when you want/need it to be but even as a motorway cruiser...

Would the Mk1 RS3 grill be a better option? you would not have to cut it, only have to get the honeycomb painted depending on what grill you manage to get.....

I had this problem on my 2003 A3 2.0 TDI (140) if the engine goes to turn over but just clonks, it can be a small crack in the cylinder head leaking fluid into the cylinder and due to water being virtually incompressible it locks the engine, it only needs to be a tiny crack, mine was only found...

I agree with what @45bvtc has said, I am a new owner of the RS3 and am loving it, I have a few little niggles with mine but I am sorting them myself, I don't understand why some people moan that a used car is not perfect, some people do not look after cars as well as some of us Hope you enjoy...

Loving it, not done anything to mine yet, but have been eyeing up a forge intercooler, revo stage 1 and a panel filter, not sure I want to spend loads on it yet, would love to fully tune it but I need the comfort too Looking forward to see how you get on :hubbahubba:
