Audi S3 PFL vs Mercedes A35 AMG

Definitely not a chav, but according to my wife can be very "childish" when I get behind the wheel of a car. Or anything I can go fast in to be honest.

Audi S3 PFL vs Mercedes A35 AMG

My TCR didn't have the Akrapovic, and those weren't actually louder they just had a different tone. And yes, my Porsche which has a Porsche Sports Exhaust is significantly louder than both.

Audi S3 PFL vs Mercedes A35 AMG

My TCR sounded better than my 2016 S3, in my experience car makers can still make OPF cars sound good. In my opinion Audi just don’t want to do that, maybe they will bother with the RS range but not with S models. My Porsche is a new model, and it has the 2 litre engine and the exhaust sounds...

Audi S3 PFL vs Mercedes A35 AMG

With, the TCR was only produced from 2019. All cars from late 2018 will have an OPF fitted. The TCR had a tuned exhaust from the factory, it was always going to sound better. The S3 just has a quad tailpipe, Audi doesn't really "tune" it to any extent.

    2014 Glacier White Revo S3

The amount of work you have put into that, I don‘t see how you could ever part with it. I really need to get over to Scotland again for another road trip, my Porsche would be fantastic fun on those roads.

    Rising used car prices.

The car market generally slows down this time of year, particularly for certain types of cars. So I wouldn’t take pricing now, or part with cars now unless you need to. Anything I have seen suggests that new car production is not going to return to normal levels anytime soon, so no new stock...

    Rising used car prices.

I have a limited run Porsche, so mine should hold its value regardless (hopefully)

    Rising used car prices.

I loved mine enough to pay a professional detailed to look after mine, does this make mine even more valuable and rarer:glee:

    Rising used car prices.

What the prices are today, will be very different in 18 months time. There are a number of factors driving the value of used cars up at the moment, when these factors no longer exist prices will adjust again back to normal levels. I wouldn‘t expect big profits, if any in around 12 to 18 months...

    Rising used car prices.

All things suggest this is a temporary situation, likely to last another 18 months. So by the time your balloon payment is due, the value of your car is more than likely going to be back to normal levels.

    Purchased wrong spacers

Really? Bit of an overreaction. Assuming it was just his decision of course.

    Purchased wrong spacers

Hardly childish word picking from me, that is exactly what you said. Maybe you need to learn how to articulate yourself better, rather than posting up unsubstantiated rubbish that is solely based upon your opinion and not on any factual information. And you only have to search through this...

    Purchased wrong spacers

You have “told” me nothing, you may have written something. But that doesn’t make it correct. You can have your opinion, and I can have mine.

    Purchased wrong spacers

You can clearly see when a product has been well engineered and built, I am not for one second saying just pay a high price for something without researching it. But I like quality, and quality costs more. Simple as that.

    Purchased wrong spacers

So, what you are saying is don’t send you details of good quality products. Just the cheap, badly made crap. Seriously, considering what spacers are doing and what part of the car they are being attached to, I would be buying the very best ones not the cheapest. Do you also fit cheap rubbish tyre?

So the S3 has moved on...

Ironically the lockdown and working from put me into my Porsche, as my ”normal” mileage would have be silly while running a Porsche. It means now that the miles I put on the car are enjoyable ones, don’t miss my previous cars at all. I’ve been offered more for the Porsche than I actually paid...

    New S3 ordered

Well he has, and it was similar money from two dealers. The 2.9% has been around for a couple of years now with BMW for new cars, the 6 or 7% from Audi is ridiculous. And whatever BMW is doing, its working. I know 4 Audi drivers who are now BMW drivers. Why pay double the interest rate for an...

    New S3 ordered

How much deposit on that? A friend of mine has just ordered a brand new fully loaded X3M for a similar monthly. It’s a £75k + car, so that seems expensive for what will probably be around a £60k car
