    Paint Code on VIN plate blank?!

    Hi All, I've got a nice little purple '06 2.0t Quattro and want to get some touch-in paint but just had a look at the VIN plate in the boot and it's blank! Any idea why this is? And can I get hold of the code another way? Cheers guys. Tim
