Had the center bit removed from my old a3 as the flexi was knackered... the bit thats splits in two 1 flexi and one silencer.... it didnt drone at all and didnt make it any louder
just prefer the standard airbox less noise, feels like
Less torque with the ramair too, car is completely standard maybe different with a map but that isnt going to happen anytime soon
Not that maf sensor end its engine end, the end ive circled if i slide that on and do clip its just floppy, im sure on my old a3 it had a rubber bit too
I have the intake pipe and the spring clip(which is a ****** to get off!) but where that pipe slides over im pretty sure there is a rubber bit that slides in first, as now if i try to put it on its just floppy
looking to take off the ramair induction kit that came with the car i recently got (2007 2.0tfsi) and went to fit the standard airbox back on and it seems to be missing a rubber sleeve or something that goes on the oe intake pipe to secure it on properly as now it just flops around when secured...
I was there when it was checked i took it to another garage where i used to work, and the timing was fine, it hasnt played up yet and has been driving fine. So at the moment untill it does it again if it does its a mystery
Had timing checked today and its spot on, no codes on vcds either so its a mystery for now! Thanks for all the replies much appreciated, car ran fine today too
