I'd definitely leave out the HHA as the retrofit is simple, it's also not really worth it, as the standard hill hold (couple of seconds worth of brake-hold with S-Tronic) is more than enough. I'd aim to get VC in there. Mine was under £40k, but I am aware that the prices have changed.

Since doing the exhaust flap VCDS mod, all 4 of mine are evenly sooted. Before doing the mod, as expected, 2 and 3 were black as the night and 1, 4 were pretty clean most of the time.
