haha your right tuffty I plugged it in and didn't even need a code :) I was just worried about taking my aftermarket headunit out and being left with no radio. lol

Well my local branch said couldn't give me code unless it was powered in car and has to be plugged into there diagnostic machine and would cost £24.99. Said they used to be able to just fax of the details and get the code but its all changed now.

Hey tuffty mate next door put his 12k reader on it lol and it said something like drivers side airbag high resistance. Cleared it and its gone out now but wondering if resistor i used is too high? 0.6w 2.2ohm

Will do yeh i got everything to service it... new oil/filter, fuel filter, spark plugs also gonna change all gaskets too. I dont have engine management lights on or anything no just airbag light but hopefully get that out lol

Thanks mark what you mean sealant over cams? when you say corners you mean each corner of valve cover?

Just wondering where people buy the valve cover gasket kit and cam chain tensioner gaskets from been to TPS and they are wanting £40 for all this which seems quite expensive. Thanks.

lol might have meant someone had a look and said it was ok nothing wrong with it :) but my fuel consumption has suddenly gone down hill was up averaging around 28mpg around town now dropped to around 23-24mpg? got a new thermostat to fit might also get a new coolant sensor.

took the motor out opened it up but not sure how to manually adjust the arm wondering if mine is fully out and it doesn't pull out pretty sure about that.
