2015 1.4 TSFI COD clutch judder

Symptom is a clutch judder when pulling way. Been doing it for 10,000's miles - finally asking here - Can be temporarily (for a few days or weeks) cleared by getting it hotter by partially engaging it for a few seconds with handbrake on (but without any burning smells!) - Seems to get...

    VAG G 052 164 M2 Winter Screenwash

Anyone know the cheapest place to buy this on-line? It's one of pricier ones but the only one I've found that doesn't block the rear washer. Best I can find so far is £12.95/l delivered https://www.amazon.co.uk/concentrated-clear-frost-protection-70-%C2%B0C/dp/B006E7Z40Y

    Tyre or other damage?

I have P Zeros. No visible damage, plenty of tread, and car's just gone through a MOT ok. 3rd party tyre pressure sensors don't show one tyre running at a higher temp either. When driving I hear low frequency thumping noise, only just audible, that seems to be in time with the wheel rotation...

Respray due to keyed panels :-(

So I have a white A3 that's had one door, one rear quarter panel, and the tailgate keyed. Doesn't look like I will be able to do a satisfactory repair myself. Anyone got any recommendations for a bodyshop in High Wycombe or Amersham (Bucks) areas that will do a good job?

    P-Zero vs P-Zero PZ4 rim protection

Been using P-Zero's (A0) due to their great rim protection. Anyone used both P-Zero and P-Zero PZ4 (both Audi versions) and know if the PZ4's have the same level of rim protection as the basic P-Zero's?

    Battery replacement

Looking to replace my battery ("like for for like" MOLL 69AH EFB OEM -> 70AH EFB (possibly Varta)). Stop start raley engages now and battery went flat after a week on hol. At 7yrs old I'm thinking I should just replace it given those are both symptoms the battery is probably now struggling. 1...

Rear wash (not the plastic nozzle)

So I can hear the pump working, and it works for the front windscreen. But I get no water coming out the back, even with the plastic nozzle removed. So either the pump has failed (even though it's still heard running) or there's a blockage in the hose that runs to the back, or it's become...

Bigger tyres for enhanced rim protection?

So as the title says is this a good/bad/indifferent way to go? I have a 2015 A3 sline with standard 18" wheels and (sports) suspension. 225/40/R18 tyres. Looking for quiet all seasons tyres with excellent rim protection - which don't seem to exist, based on another thread I started. So if I...

All season quiet tyres with best rim protection

Currently using Pirelli P-Zeros AO (summer tyre) as they have the best rim protection I've seen on any tyre with low noise (until the tread wears down). Now time to change and thinking maybe an all seasons tyre would be a better compromise in the UK winter, given we get snow etc. Can anyone...

Does the forum support RSS feeds?

Not really a 'problem' but I had to select a prefix to post... I would like to keep updated on selected audi-sport.net forums using my favourite RSS reader. Does the forum platform support RSS, and iff so where do I find the RSS feed?

Fed up with fuel filler flap/door

These seem generically unreliable (to unlock), so thinking about simply disconnecting the actuator wires to disable the locking function. Anyone know of a compatible locking fuel filler cap?

Earth/negative 'tag' in engine bay for charging

Why do Audi do this to avoid folk connecting a charger directly to the battery terminal. I.e. what's the point? What would happen if I chose to use a. the battery negative terminal, or b. another earth point such as the battery tray bolt when wiring in a permanent 'charger connector' of the...

    Irritating inspection reminder

Can this be switched off/postponed with any of the aftermarket ODB software (prefereably in unpaid mode)? The reset on the MMI only affects oil change intervals. I have a few months to a 2yr service and don't feel I need an 'inspection' prior to that/so close. (I do low mileage & change the oil...
