The lights have revealed that you need to install stainless steel pedal covers.

Or that haha. I’d imagine the OE lights are made in China too. I bought footwell and puddle lights for my 8P from AliExpress too and they were spot on and I don’t have any reason to doubt these too. The 8P ones were a bit dim and I just updated the LEDs using ones supplied by @t8ups.

Just received my kit from AliExpress. Only $34 and as you can see all genuine parts. Will follow up when I’ve had a chance to retrofit.

Indeed. In Germany you’re not allowed to wash cars at home.

This is the norm in Germany where you can find even better setups. Maybe after Brexit when we run out of cheap labour innovative car washes will make their way through.
