Compared to my A4, the A7 gearbox feels sometimes like it waiting for a written request to take action, but you learn the quirks and counter them in driving style. It's disappointing but there are more ups and downs in the the A7.

My A7 has springs on 21" wheels. Yes it is a little 'bumpy' but nothing you don't get used too.

I've got the 50. In my opinion engine is awesome. Gearbox is a little slow on the uptake sometimes (compared to my A4) but you learn to manage that. Stop start is really good, instant. (it was sluggish in my A4 and I always turned it off) The touch screens take a little time getting used to...

good to hear, thanks. i'm coming from my 2016 a4 sline on 19 inch wheels, low profile tyres (giving it to my wife), so suspect I wont notice a difference.

I'll be collecting my new a7 on Tuesday. Ahead of this i've been reading a few articles which state that the 21 inch wheels ruin the ride. Mine has 21 rims and i'm now worried. Anyone own the a7 with the 21 inch wheels? What are your thoughts?
