    Poor Tyre Wear

That looks like part of the manufacture of the tyre to me.

Facelift Known fault with FL RS3 - ticking exhaust valve..

Thats the rattle sound, yes. Mine does not do that, but I have heard plenty that do.

    Facelift Occasional loud bang..

Oh well. The exhaust rattle is very obvious and I noticed it straight away on the demo. My car has no rattle at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Facelift Occasional loud bang..

My late September build car has no exhaust rattle and I also think it sounds quite a bit better than the demonstrator I had. Both have sports exhaust fitted. Also seems to be getting better now with approx 1,500km on the clock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Lowering or Wheel Spacers or both?

Just completed some research on the legality of these in NZ -- maximum spacer width is 20mm, and ALL spacers need to be certified upon installation to be legal in NZ. Nothing like this is required in the UK?

Lowering or Wheel Spacers or both?

Very nice AN, love it. After seeing your pics and 12mm on the rear I'm pretty keen to do this myself.

    RS4 gear shifter

Totally agree, it suits the Q7, but would be way out of place in the RS3.

    RS4 gear shifter

It looks like the shifter we have in our Q7. To be honest, I prefer the one in the RS3. I also don’t understand the fascination with new key style found in the Q7, A4, A5, etc...apart from the flip out key (which is old school) the feel of the old key is actually nicer and it is slightly more...

    RS3 (PFL) vs RS3 (FL)

Yeah I think that is very solid advice, if you have the PFL you already have it all really, unless money is burning a hole in your pocket it’s very hard to justify.

    RS3 (PFL) vs RS3 (FL)

I am almost relieved it’s quieter, mainly due to my neighbours who are close to my driveway and garage. Always good to keep good neighbourly relations. It would have been great if there were still pops and crackles on downshifts though.

    Facelift Dynamic mode

If you’re still using iTunes youre doing it wrong. iTunes hasn’t been required do anything on an iPhone (sync or otherwise) for many many years.

    Facelift UK RS3 Saloon/SB (400ps) Order Thread...

I agree, I’ve driven both the FL S3 and the FL RS3 and the RS3 kills the S3. I didn’t detect any of the heaviness reported by CJP80 either.

I think the red gives the interior a nice lift, otherwise it’s grey on grey on grey....but it’s highly individual decision.

    Audi Smart key Fob Upgrade

Our Q7 has keys like those pictured in the upgrade. It’s a nice key, but nothing to rave about to be honest.
