In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be selling my pride and joy. All work has been done by CLP Automotive of Sheffield.
Description is as follows:
42000 Miles + Phantom Black + Gloss Black Rotors + Full Service History + 1 Previous Owner + Tiptronic with paddle shifters + Rear parking sensors +...
I've just picked up a new primed bumper from Audi for my S3 and I'd specified one with parking sensors holes but they say you have to drill your own? Does anybody know if this is right? I can see me making a right mess. The current bumper seems to have moulded ones with no sharp edges. I want it...
Just to update anyone that's interested, I got this sorted. I'd replaced the front discs after having two sets of front Pagid discs warp on me within a matter of months and still had a judder at higher speeds i.e. motor way driving. After having all four wheels checked again the front Brembo...
That's all complicated stuff! I'll have to get an expert to check all of that. It's a 2011 with a fairly low mileage of 38000. Sounds promising though.
Mmmm all good points to check. The suspension is fine I do know. Wheels are recently refurbed and fine as far as I know. I haven't seen any signs of overheating. Obviously, I could miss any of those things though. I could do with an expert checking it really.
Maybe it could be a calliper issue then? Not sure where to take it now, after the best garage I know close to me can't find a problem. Maybe the Pagid discs I had weren't genuine? I got them from Euro and both sets warped within a couple of months. I don't drive heavy either - unless it's...
Yep, they're definitely real ones. The Pagid ones before were **** - never again. Pads wise, I got them from the Audi dealer, OEM ones and fitted them new with the first set of discs. Could that be the issue? What would you recommend?
I went through two sets of Pagid Discs that both warped within months of each other and so I swapped them for Brembo ones. I've been getting brake shudder at motorway speeds and so I booked it into the garage. They've had all the wheels off, tested the run out, tested it on the road up to 50 mph...
Mine's an APR map (haven't had the DSG mapped as I haven't found a need as yet) and there's no difference at all with auto. Still drives as per normal - and in Drive it doesn't feel much different to standard, as far as slow moving traffic is concerned.
I can't comment on coilovers as I just have lower H&R springs at the moment (coilovers soon though) and I can't comment on the clutch really, as I have a DSG. Saying all this, I've been using a Stage2+ as a daily driver for around a year now with no issues at all, to and from work - ferrying...
A while back I made the mistake of having an RS3 one badly fitted. Now I'd like to return it back to normal but cannot find an original used rear bumper lower diffuser. I still have the silver tray, it's the section it attaches to and clips to the rear bumper I cant find, as mine was butchered...
So my S3 is dyno'd at 355bhp with an APR Stage2+ map, BCS System, APR HPFP and a Performance VW CAI.
My question is (and has been asked before - but I like things in black and white), what do I need to get 400+bhp? My guess is a Wagner intercooler, RS3/4 injectors(?) and a TTE420? I'm no real...
I went the other way - intercooler last. Had Stage 1 with a PVW CAI, then had the HPFP, Cam Follower and uprated plugs etc and Stage 2+. The exhaust was a mish mash by previous owner and so only reached around 350hp and I could feel the exhaust was towing. I've just had a BCS System fitted and...
I've just bought the proper RS3 one from my dealer at £246 and it comes Gloss black. Ive found a place to fit it for around £90. Not sure if thats what you're looking for.
