Retrofitted the framless mirror with camera to my prefacelift saloon and had no issues other than needed to make a wiring harness.

Does this kit give you dynamic guidlines or just straight ones?

Looks like it may have been fitted with either the Audi approved accessory or an aftermarket kit. Either one of them will not display on screen. You could get the car plugged in and see if you can access a parking module, if so then it may be a coding issue. As above do you have the parking...

Mine idles normally at around 800-900. If i turn AC and the heaters off it drops right down to around 750.

VCDS is a diagnostic tool. Have a look at the VCDS users map to find someone in your area with it.

Mine was more from the right hand side than the centre. I disabled with vcds, module A9 and turned volume down to 0%.

Mine did this also. Disabled the soundaktor with vcds and it dissappeared.

Does anyone know if the facelift 81A857511A HBA mirror will work with a pre facelift 2015 s3? Many thanks.

Just completed this retrofit on mine. Drivers mirror already had the harness for the glass but the passenger side did not. Fitted the glasses and a loom to the passenger side mirror. Also had to run wires from the interior mirror to the connectors that meets the drivers and passenger door.

As far as im aware Haynes dont do a manual for the 8V A3.

This is a Gen 4 pump. The pump on the a3/s3 8v is Gen 5.
