The wheels i'm looking at buying are: 18x8.0 ET35 5-112 Centre bore: 66.5mm Will they fit OK? I understand i need to use reducers for the centre bore, but I believe the ET might mean they stick out, is this correct?

Car has done 94k - I'm not sure if it has ever been changed or not - I presume it has if it's a service item as car has FSH. I just found / watched this video on YouTube and it looks an easy job. £150 seems way ott for this.

Thanks desert storm. I get everything you said but I am struggling to understand how you interface with the chip - i.e how do you program the chip, do you plug the chip into something? My guess is that you put key into ignition which allows car to comm with the chip via VCDS?

Hi, I have 2 keyfobs for my 8p - one works fine and the other puts car into SAFE mode and tries to start but then cutsout. It was dropped from a height and then this happened. Does this mean its ****** or can it be reprogrammed? Thanks !

This does sound the exact same problem - and I also agree with the 1 finger - I think I actually said the same thing to my misses :grin: The issue is still the same for me, it really is quite annoying now. I am out of ideas :( goodbuzz let me know if the new battery fixes your problem.

It is still an issue, but it's weird as sometimes its really heavy and sometimes its quite light. Doesn't seem to depend on the weather. As much as resetting the steering angle may of helped, it hasn't solved the root of the problem as far as I can tell.
