Yup still unplugged and not regretting it, I actually had my car up on ramps and despite being in all sorts of weather recently the bags on the plugs were spotless and the sockets on the actuators looked brand new.
Enjoy the growl....don't hide it...:sunglasses:
When you push the door outwards when inside the car you are pushing "with" the natural curvature of the glass design so the glass just slips underneath the external alumninium trim . If you close the door you have to force the gas underneath the trim by flexing the glass to get it to go back...
I never added them to my configurator but they come under the accessories section part number 8W6052100A. My dealer said they will have just added them due to the fact I had the light and vision pack and privacy glass option. As others, I also had the LED Audi rings option added at no extra cost.
There really is so many variables that can delay or speed up delivery of a new car. For mine I ordered the last day of June and it showed on Myaudi site as 5th July from then it took 2 months 10 days to be delivered to the dealer.
I haven't calculated it accurately to prove the displayed range figure but that's what it displays at the petrol station once full to the brim. I would imagine the answer to that is a no though...
I know what you mean, I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing yet. Never actually realised it had it until I picked it up at the dealer, I know it will help prevent stones being thrown up the side of the wings etc. It also doesn't appear to be that cheap plastic which almost turns grey...
I'm about the same, think I have seen 35mpg as an average over a 150 mile trip in traffic. Long term average is around 25mpg having done 900 miles in it now.
Full tank range is around the 400 mile mark, suits me just fine I didn't buy it to be economical :grimacing:
Yes on the passenger side they are further in on the single pipe, the drivers side they are pretty much on top of the dual tip. Cables are protected yes, there is handy little metal loops already beside the heat shield so I just cable tied them to that and it's secure. I doubt much water would...
That's both sides unplugged, I'm not too fussed about hearing a little drone I really only notice it under load so cruising at 70-80 ish on a dual carriageway in 8th gear is pretty quiet compared to previous cars I have had.
My last 2 cars have been V8's and they make a nice sound on cold start up but this V6 gives them a run for their money. Nice burble on idle and a lot of induction noise under acceleration which I'm a fan of.
Yup they are, I mean I know they have to drop to let the glass go under the lip but not by 3 or 4 inches.......having said that I just unlocked it there and it didn't do it. So it seems I normally drive short distances with the window down a little in town (to hear the exhaust lol) and it must...
Took delivery last week of the S5 Sportback......pictures to follow once I get the ceramic coating done this week.
So, you lock the car as normal but when I unlock it with a single click the drivers side window drops down like 3 inches ?!? Seems a little random it's almost like its a...
At first I had only unclipped the passenger side but then soon realised the dynamic/individual mode made a lot of difference until I read this and looked in the actual exhaust to see the right hand pipe still had a flap over it lol. So now I have removed the drivers side connector. Was awkward...
