I was getting 12V to the Amp.... Turns out if was the headunit was at fault.... also a fella from facebook told me that they are interchangeable as he has tried!
I've suddenly lost all sound so I changed my 8P3 035 223 A for a 8P3 035 223 B but no avail, so. I'm going to try the A version to see if that works, if not I'll change the head unit, failing that I'm at a complete loss!?
Resurrecting this thread to find the solution! I have a very similar squeal. Only seems to happen when hot or when pulling away around 1100 rpm. Changed alternator puller, tensioner and belt but still squeals. When hot does this at idle, worse when econ is on. Anyone had any problems with A/C...
Oh perfect!, I've just ordered a rebuild kit so if it turns out my caliper is cream crackered to the extent I cannot rebuild I will be sure to take you up on that offer, thanks
One last question, how the hell do i get the cable from the headunit into the tailgate... am i going to need a super longer guide? like a unbent coathangar from the passenger side upper door trim?
Ive just had a look on eurocarparts and they're asking for £153 for a refurbed one! i may have a look on ebay, failing that im going to rebuild and i may paint them yellow in the process. Cheers for the advice, ill give it a shot later on tonight

Hello all,
My offside rear brake pads are ominously thin and so I went to change them. Bought the wind back tool from halfords and everything. Alas the piston just WILL NOT budge, i've opened up the brake reservoir and even tried loosening the bleed nipple but the piston is stuck! I've also...
I love what you've done with this, did you re-spray the calipers yourself? if so which colour, i'd like to do mine too.. the same question for the rear diffuser
