Hello all, I am finally saying goodbye to my A3, but not selling it, the reasons for this is because my good friend has the same AXX 2.0TFSI engine and has pinched my cams.
well I say pinched, I gave them to him.
if anyone would like to buy some parts from it, I’m more than happy to sell them...
So this will be an reconditioned turbo, I have one currently in my car but when I bought a new one. Now I have two!
Is it worth recondition then selling ?
well it’s not done yet, I assume anyone can do it with the right equipment, and once it has been recon then it will be left uninstalled...
Hello,
So for a 2.0tfsi A3.
06F145701H - Part number, how much would a reconditioned one sell for? I’m looking at selling mine and I’m just curious of some prices.
Thanks
Hi, thank you very much for that. Does the engine need to be hoisted to remove the sump ? People online are saying various things.
I can take it off and then just replace the pump, does this mean my turbo will now be ******** if it has been messing up the oil ?
It’s refurbished from AET-TURBOS
I was at my normal garage, I helped with the whole process, and there was nothing installed on it wrong or any loose pipes etc.
Hello, I’ve always had the P0011 code, even before it failed I believe. I just put it down to the remap.
I was there when the new turbo was fitted, the turbo itself was oiled, new oil through the whole engine + filter. I’m really unsure what’s going wrong with it, as it’s still new! :(
Hello, yes I don’t believe it is the bearings, it’s weird because when I reset via the app it starts working again. Do you really think a brand new turbo + DV + BOOST would break within 4000 miles. And the camshaft sensor is on the left side of an AXX right ?
I’m based near guildford
Well I still get P0011 and P2149 (when this happens it normally just misfires, so it’s not permanent)
Im just worried about the first one with the camshaft, everything has been changed, and apparently there is a map on my car, could this be causing the problem ?
Hello,
So as you can see by the title I’m having a problem, on my previous posts I was having problems, my old turbo bearings had worn and the actuator snapped:
The new problem:
I replaced the turbo and now sometimes it completely stops, so I’d i accelerate I get no POWER.
There are no check...
Booked into a garage that deals solely with VAG
Will let you know on any updates.
Replaced DV valve.
Looks like it will be a turbo replacement due to not much boost at low rpm and more at higher.
Tried the sticky DV, today. It lacks down in low ish rpm, but picks up after. You can hear the turbo quite loud.
I’ve uploaded a video onto IMGUR

I see. That’s a great idea. I’m going to buy a new DV valve. And inspect all of the pipes. I would imagine it’s the PCV leaking as that can cause problems!
Thanks for your reply!
It is genuine, I also plugged in an autologic today and got the DTC P0299 which shows underboost.
Looks like a vag specialist might be able to help, as I assume oil is leaking from the turbo.
I don’t think the DV+ is causing the problem, because A. I took it off today and it’s perfectly fine (looks brand new) and B. This problem started happening after it was installed.
Hi. Took the DV+ off today, checked it over for cracks etc, nothing wrong.
Installed it back on, made sure it was tight yet I still have the same problem.
I thought the oil was leaking from a faulty PCV, but it doesn’t seem that way. I’ll take it there at some point, hopefully they will be able...
He was a mobile mechanic.
I’ve run runs of scans via different equipment and nothing comes up. Should I just try a normal revision of the diverter valve.
Do you know any good places near Guildford ?
