I tried T-Cut, plus a few other things on the window surrounds and roof rails a few years ago. No joy at all. Going to get the window surrounds wrapped at some point as they look pretty shabby now
Same here! Been off all weekend for a change and done nothing but gardening... 3 runs to the tip in the Golf full of hedge trimmings and all the ****** ivy that had grown over everything
As above… sorry to hear you’re not well mate.
Hope all goes well with your timing belt change, get them to do a full service while you’re in. Oil, filer, plugs etc. You’ll be firing on all cylinders in no time :thumbs up:
Just had the thought of myself at 17 being given access to a powerful car like an S3… I got into enough trouble in an MG Metro. Of course everyone’s different and I’m not suggesting that he’ll be driving too fast or dangerously. I’d probably work up to the S3 with something in between like a...
Yes, they actually blast it with very fine bits of walnut shell. Had mine done at R Tech a few years back…With injector clean is was just under £300 I think. You can clean it yourself, plenty of people on here have. I was lazy and wanted the professionals to do it.
Before and after…
Sounds like you’ve had a bit of nightmare with this, I feel your pain. Although mine is seat related.
20mm is definitely the S4 sway bar. I’d get back to the seller and show them the above photo. For reference:
SE bar = 16mm
S Line bar = 18mm
S4 bar = 20mm
RS4 bar = 22mm
H R bar = 24mm
Eibach...
You should be able to move the projected image… the adjustment is on the inside of the fitting. Just twist the round bit around and it rotates the projection
That does sound a little odd, but I wouldn’t put it passed Audi to have the settings back to front.
Our hearing does get progressively worse the older we get which doesn’t help either. You could always do some subtle mods to the audio system, speak to your local reputable car audio centre.
100%. It’s all down to the individual, we all hear things differently. I’m a massive fuss pot when it comes to audio, I can’t stand heavily compressed music unless it’s internet radio.
My wife on the other hand thinks it all sounds the same!
Guess it’s not that then… If it wasn’t connected to the original Audi iso connectors it’s probably not important if you’re re installing the factory unit back in.
I would say even with the road noise and other contributing factors there is a good difference between 320kps and 1411kbps. It all depends on how good the audio system is. I’ve never been massively impressed with any stock system, including Audi’s own, Bose, B&O etc.
Just a guess but… If the wire leads to the instrument cluster, it could be the original connection between the OEM headunit and the DIS on the dashboard. It’s used to display the radio station, track number of the cd etc. It becomes redundant when fitting an aftermarket headunit.
