Without meaning to cause too much offence, I think that tatoos are for cackers and trailer trash. Never seen a nice one either - just think about all those fools who had 'celtic bands' and barbed wire tatooed on their arms 10+ years ago. I bet the vast majority regret having them done.
I...
Good news :icon_thumright:
At least he's alive. My brother-in-law had a similar accident by all accounts (his left leg is a few cm shorter than his right) and he's able to do most things pretty well. Gets tired after running about after the kids though...but then don't we all?
Couldn't agree more Boydie. I do about 150 miles a day on the motorway and see it all the time. Drives me nuts. Take last night as an example - followed a Punto in the fast lane at 65mph for more than 10 miles before the dozy bint behind the wheel finally looked in her mirror and saw me and a...
Classic choice Smitch, and she was a looker too. On a similar vein Oakenfold's remix of Lemon by U2 is another belter.
All time favourite album to drive to is Northern Exposure 1 - Sasha & Digweed.
Favourite current album in the car is the new Air album, Pocket Symphony. Really nice and...
Very sensible advice. Most people think their car is worth more than it is. If you're selling a car worth as much as your A3, why not pay a few quid to get a pretty accurate valuation as to what it's worth?
You'll sell the car quicker as a result and save money on advertising fees.
Driving home from a weekend away yesterday afternoon. Got to the end of the M27 in the New Forest and 3 lanes go into 2. I've got 800 yards overtake an A4 cabriolet and a Volvo both doing about 75mph in the middle lane.
The next thing I know the nob driving the Audi decides his car is better...
Bowfer you're displaying all the signs of a 'fiscally prudent' Scot getting excited about a measly £15 saving (that's an extra £1.25 in your pocket each month).
Cue the rant....! :moa:
According to the BBC website, the cars affected will be 'Band F' and Band 'G'
Band F are cars that emit more than 185 g/km (£10 rise)
Band G are cars that emit more than 225 g/km (un-reported rise)
The misuse of 'Complimentary' and 'Complementary' in the following scenario:
"Buy a coffee and get a complimentary slice of cake".
The cake then says nice things about you...
Also gets my goat when people say (e.g.) "....try and hurry up.." when it should be "....try to hurry up..."...
Yeah, but hang on a minute...
IF you buy from a dealer, you are buying with more confidence than if you bought privately. Firstly, all vehicles will have had the full HPI check, plus you'll get a warranty for at least 3 months - so at least you've got some comeback if anything goes wrong...
Had the car serviced last weekend and asked the technician to check to see if there was a fault. The reply was that it was turbo lag, as it comes off-boost at between 2400 and 2600 RPM.......
