Purchasing Pads - More Than One Choice/Fitment

Hi all Looking for a bit of help pse. Hoping to purchase rear pads for my 2013 A7 BiTdi tomorrow and on checking Eurocarparts for rears it comes up with - 'there is more than one choice of part for your vehicle. Please select the correct ' Brake Pads ' by checking the 'Fitment Detail' tab...

    3.0 Bitdi C7 (2013) Service Frequency & Items

Hi folks I have 2013 A7 3.0 bitdi but as per previous posters I'm placing in the A6 section as same engine and more activity in A6 section. Two questions - 1. On purchasing the car I was advised that oil and air filter is every 2nd year - is this correct as all other cars I've owned have been...

Audi sold me a tuned car

They can tell when the mapping was done as the ECU records the date of mapping so they will clearly see that you didn't have car ownership when said mapping was put in place. Will car feel slower - yes it will as I have had 3.0bitdi mapped and unmapped previously and it does make a 'nice'...

RAF S7 - thanks, exactly what I hoped it would be.......those damn TPMS drove ne mad in XFR lol. Time to get alloys :)

    A7 2013 BiTdi - TPMS?

Hi all Going to treat the car to new alloys, and keep the current ones as winters. Quick question - does it have 4 xTPMS in the alloy/tyres for this model/year? Had this in the XFR and when I changed over to winter alloys (without putting TPMS in the tyres/alloys) I had warning light in the...

    Buying An Audi A7 tomorrow

Ride will be better even dropping to 20s fir you, and 19s will save you even more money as easier to get/better pricing. You should maybe consider wrapping them in F1 tyres as they have slight rim protectors and I run them on my A7 and Subaru........and fantastic tyres in dry and wet...

    Buying An Audi A7 tomorrow

That's much better pricing mate, and gets you saving lots of pennies. I'm also in the process of getting spare alloys, poss for winter use - tempted with either RS7 one's or just go for replica rotor's which are around £650 for 20s.

    Buying An Audi A7 tomorrow

£2k for alloy wheel and wheel bearing is totally bonkers. You could get the wheel bearing done for £200-£300 and pick up a spare original 21 rotor alloy on Ebay for £300 easily = £500/£600. I'm guessing wheel bearing must be pretty common in the A7 as I had to get mine done soon after purchase...

    New BiTDi owner, Glasgow.

You've ploughed some money in to them over the years if you had 8 mate - I was bad enough with 3 then jumped ship to an XFR and didn't mod at all. I didn't see anything online for the Stage 2 option just this one (Stage 1) - https://ecotune-scotland.co.uk/chiptuning?make=2&model=38&engine=487...

    New BiTDi owner, Glasgow.

Hi Phil, yeah that's me from the Scooby forums...….had the silver hatch (22k mods on the engine bay alone ouchhhhh lol so prone to a little tweak here and there) and still got one which I use for daily run to work to save the A7 - how's things with you? What did you go with Phil, map and...

What size wheels fit over BiTDi front calipers?

Not gone that low Phil, but I was up at Skidz at weekend and planned on dropping to 19 rotors with winters.

    New BiTDi owner, Glasgow.

Hi Phil Good to see a local owner - I'm from Motherwell. Lovey car - sorry for delay in commenting, I hadn't seen much chat on A7 BiTDi since I joined so hadn't been on much of late as new bambino keeping me busy :). Not done too much to mine yet apart from alloys, tyres, calipers re-done...

    Bitdi louder sometimes

That being the case I'll need to enquire into getting access to VCDS to review the levels on mine as currently only doing short 2 x 10-15mins journeys a week so that won't be helping it.

    Bitdi louder sometimes

My mate told me in his older A5 that he got a display up on screen when his car was doing the regen - new to BiTdi ownership and presume this isn't the case for ours?

    Your Having A Giraffe

Really annoying how your loyalty is take for a ride in comparison to someone who has never given them a single penny - bonkers. Yeah its Admiral who are offering it half the price and I've been with them before and they were very good to deal with and mrs has them also so qualifies for...

    Your Having A Giraffe

Agreed kanecullen89 - the letter they sent me was "Thank you for being with us for 5 years we have pleasure in providing your renewal.....". Eh........retention of good current customers ya half wits. As you say, I did quick comparison and others almost half the price and that isn't backstreet...

    Your Having A Giraffe

So, having owned a host of high performance bad boys over the past few years most recently being Limited Edition Le Mans Jaguar 5.0 Supercharged (510bhp) I treated myself to a nice A7 3.0 BiTDI a few months back. No accidents, claims, convictions etc and aged 45 and always paid around £300-£400...

    Bitdi active sound! Adjustable???

Thanks Ross - that's really interesting as I was quoted 350 (360 max) from a APR dealer close to where I stay (as did Revo) so I've pinged an email direct to APR today for some clarity. I'll let you know how I get on.

    Bitdi active sound! Adjustable???

Ross 395 is good results. Is yours the 3.0 BiTDI as I have the A7 version but from Revo and others I was advised I'd only get 350 with their remapping? Cheers.
