That looks like a neat and oem like install.
I'm looking to do the same but always a little concerned about fuel leaks on the high pressure feed. Seen a few instances of cars going up in flames lately.
At one stage my shifts were a little harsh and snappy using WOT in sports mode. The dealer did a reset on the gearbox and now its very tame, a little too tame in fact.
I was looking at a new DNWA variant FL yesterday and notice that this has the under bonnet sound deadening.
I'm guessing the bonnets are the same so it should fit to a DAZA.
When I did the research I was told the h&r bar was one of the stiffest in the market so you shouldn't need the second hole for stiffer setting as it may make the car unbalanced. I have a Superpro bar which is on the soft side so I use the stiff setting, second hole.
Using a 2 hole bar you...
Thank you for this,I used it today to change my plugs.
Can I add a few points for the newbs like myself. :)
I nearly got stumped on the first step, couldn't get the connector plugs off the coil packs.
In my case, once the push clip was released, I needed to grab with both hands and wrigle...
I admire the effort that's been made to try and resolve the tyre issue but its just not worth the angst and time when there is little chance of getting a result.
Mine wore to the chords on the inner edge at 14k kilometres. I replaced them with ps4s square set up. The handling improved, it...
I was recently looking at a flex fuel tune which would require an ethanol content sensor to be fitted. One thing that concerned me was plumbing the content sensor into the fuel line and the risk of bad connectors or installation. Having fuel sprayed out at high pressure could be catastrophic...
The term lag is confusing. As turbo lag is different to spool up lag which is different to throttle lag. They all cause a delay in response but for different reasons.
The increased pressure drop would be the penalty you pay with any larger cooler. You have a bigger chamber to fill with charged air. This is where many make a mistake in going to a too bigger cooler than necessary for their power level.
I'll be going the DS1 flex fuel tune in Feb with no other mods. I've been down the modding path on a number of cars and its a slippery slope which often leads to regret.
Where I live I have e85 available at a station just down the road and reasonable availability in general city area. But the...
I wouldn't call it a feature, its more of bug, the car has a brain fart about which gear it needs to change to.
If it provided more performance id say cool, but it doesn't its slows the car and particularly annoying when it happens overtaking.
