Hello all, Has anyone run a wire from the engine bay to the cabin through the firewall? If so, how did you do it please? For context need to install an accessory with the switch in the cabin and power source via fusebox. Many thanks and much appreciated!

My 2019 registered C8 with Tech Pack has wireless CarPlay enabled from factory.

unfortunately no electric motor on the drivetrain unless the car is a TFSIe model. No idea on if there are plans to deploy this on diesels as of yet.

It is part of the £150 Storage Pack, which also includes the cargo net, 12v socket in the boot, rear seat cup holders, and correct me if I am wrong possibly the net pocket on the rear of the front seats as well. Should all be standard equipment on a car like this in all honesty…

45 TFSI here. Best consumption achieved on a long motorway drive: 42mpg. Average out of town consumption on motorway/A roads: 36mpg. Average over 6000 miles of mixed driving: 27mpg. Central London average: 13mpg.

It was an optional extra when I ordered the car in June 2019 if I recall correctly.

Another thing to bear in mind is if the engine is up to temperature. Diesels take longer than petrols it’s the fastest I have ever seen in my 45 TFSI so stop/start is active very quickly.

I don’t like how they changed the hazard lights button to be on the touchscreen. On mine it is a physical button - much preferred for use when driving!

They really do. A mate of mine who has been through many premium cars over the years and is a “connoisseur” of sound systems says that the B&O in my Avant is the best stock fitted sound system he has ever heard in a car.

I am afraid that the speakers don’t rise up with the B&O system that is part of the Comfort & Sound Pack. The one that you have seen is the B&O 3D sound system which is a another ~£5k optional extra. I do believe you will be well happy with the one you ordered though, it is very good in my opinion.

Obdeleven contains a customisation to enable second phone support- could it possibly be related to this not being enabled in the newer model by default, and that you would need to enable it through a customisation?

Sounds very much like your car was made on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon. In your shoes, I would reject & replace or look for something else instead - besides the issues do you have any regrets with going for the RS6 after purchasing & experiencing as opposed to others in its class?

Who actually does like cyclists? The car knows it belongs on the road and cyclists should stay off the road.

Even just disabling the seatbelt alarm is worth the purchase. As is enabling the taillights to be on during the day with the DRL (Scandinavian mode).

For your question about the specific setting of headlamps to LHD, Carista does not change this - it merely makes the option to set the headlamps appear in the MMI. I activated that and tried changing it in the MMI to LHD and nothing happened so it might be a dud. Supposedly the lights change...
