    Rear left lights

Not really an answer but you could try swapping one bulb at a time with the right hand side (I’m assuming you’ve got bulbs and not LEDs). If the fault moves after changing a particular bulb then swap that bulb out for a new one.

    A1 2019 Worth getting?

The acceleration figures you quote are for two different engines. The auto is marginally faster than the manual given the same engine output. If you find a diesel 2019 A1 could you let me know please.

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

I’m really liking it. I’ve not had a petrol car as a daily driver for over thirty years so the whole experience is very different! I’ve driven the wife’s 1.4 TFSI which I always thought was great but this latest 1.5 seems much more refined. With the DSG in normal drive it seems a little...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Finally got my spare wheel sorted, well almost, one small modification to do. So I looked on eBay for a spare wheel armed with the part numbers supplied by @weegee I found one from a 2006 Audi TT complete with the insert, jack, brace, etc. I noticed that the insert looked a very similar shape...

    Help. Sliding noise when turning.

You don’t say if it’s from the front, centre or rear of the car. Have you checked for anything in the spare wheel well? The only similar situation I’ve had was a broken clip in the tailgate frame behind the trim panel. It would roll from one side of the tailgate all the way across to the other...

    Audi Full Service Q’s

As I understand it the six speed is a wet clutch system which needs an oil and filter change every 40,000 miles. If it’s a seven speed it could be either a wet or dry clutch system. The dry clutch is a sealed for life box which needs no maintenance. The wet clutch version requires an oil and...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

The saga continues - but this time with the wife’s 2017 A1 1.4 125PS Sport. Since I’ve had spare wheels on the brain I’m now convinced hers isn’t the correct one for her car or if it is then the jack kit tray is incorrect. The spare isn’t even secured in place. Why I didn’t notice this when we...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Thanks for that. With that info and Weegee’s pictures I thought I’d have a look at the good Ladies ‘17 plate A1. The spare is exactly the same part number even though it’s the earlier model car. So that’s a good move nearer to getting a space saver, after purchasing the car, that the dealer...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Just looking at your pics more closely the spare is 18” so I assume you have spec’d the 18” alloys? I have the standard 17” wheels. I never thought to mention this in my original post!

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Hello mate! Thanks for that, you’re a star. Obviously because my car was stock it does not have the spare & jack etc. The dealer told me you couldn’t buy these items to retro fit. I’ve since been onto Audi UK customer service and they confirmed this. My first post shows my argument against...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Yeah, you’re spot on with both reasons - ‘increase in tax bracket’ and ‘but it didn’t come with one’. I’ll just rock up at the parts counter I guess but I’ll try and suss out the part numbers first - so if anyone has said car with said wheel, jack etc and could get some numbers off of them I’d...

    2019 A1 - Spare Wheel ?

Hi All, Not been on here since 2005 I think when I owned my A3. Lots’s of cars since, some good and some not so! Just purchased a new 2019 A1 Sportback, S-line, S-tronic, 35 in turbo blue with black roof. In stock car so no choice of extras etc. Wondering if anyone else has had the following...
