Morning all, so I was going to do an oil change this morning and whilst I was under the car remove the sump and change the oil pick up, however I've read online that the S3 needs 5.3 ltrs and I've only got 5, other sources say 5 ltrs is enough. So what's the correct answer? Rog.

Think this might be different to yours mate, its not like a torx, more like a security wheel nut if the makes sense. Rog.

Holy tread revival, I just got a VW roof rack for my sons Polo, it uses the same arrangement as the Audi roof racks and and I need a HS coded wrench, did anyone find a good source for replacements or even an alternative? Rog.

Interesting read but I have a question, my S3 (BHZ) is on 82k, it has a slight tapping sound once the engine is hot and at idle, seem to go once the revs pick up, I'm thinking due to the mileage maybe a slightly thinker oil is required and am considering a 5w40 instead of the current 5w30...

UPDATE, just had a email conversation with Paul from AKS, postage was selected as Scottish Highlands, he edited my account and sorted it all out, postage now £4.50...result, two thumbs good for AKS.

Replaced a rear parking sensor on my S3 today and managed to drop one of the 10mm nuts that holds the rear bumper on into the bodywork, does anyone know where I can get a new one? Rog.

Evening all, so Ive had a suspension knock on my S3 since I've owned it, had a look today and the NSF top mount had gone, I've ordered a new one but thought while I've got the car on the jack and the wheel off I'd start loosening up all the bolts etc to make the actual job easier. All went well...
