Thanks mate... will it require a new caliper or simply a strip down and re-grease? Could it be a result of how the garage that fitted my new pads last year pushed the piston in? I could smell burning too this morning. It's booked in at a garage later so won't use it now until it's fixed!

I finally got round to contacting Audi this morning and to replace the cambelt and water-pump (with a discount) is £926!

My car is due a service soon and it will be the first one where I'm not taking it to Audi. Will an independent garage be able to reset the service interval?

I had a leak on my B8.5 saloon and the wheel well was filling with water. I took it to Audi and they changed the rubber seal around the boot and it stopped it.
