I want to buy something like in the picture below. It's thin and can be cut to size. I want to cut it in 2 pieces so I can insert the light strip inside it and some thinfoil to reflect the light only in 1 direction
Maybe it will be brighter
Yeah, don't care. I just need it to stay in place :))
Yes, in some places is not fukly visible but it's the best I can do for now
I will loom into more strips to find the brightest one because this seem to dim
Or I will make one myself, I am looking into it :D
This:
It took me a while because the double sided tape that the strip came with, wasn't strong enough. I had to buy a better one but I think it looks good
Real life the animation is smoother than in the video.
That is my taught. The error comes when the charge is less. Canbus rezistors trick the load into thinking it uses all the voltage
I will try in a moment to link the wires without the original bulb and change the bulb type to see if it works. I'll let you know
I would like to connect a led strip just for the turn signal and remove the original bulb. I don't want to have 2 things flashing there. But I know that if I just remove the bulb, I will get an error so I taught by removing the wire from the connector itself and then link the led strip, change...
So if I remove the ground that is just for turn signal, would the other 2/1 ground wires work for the other functions? Or might get issues?
And thank you for you response
But this is for Golf 7. They do use different connection to drl and turn signal.
I do think our ground wire is grounded inside the headlight to some clean metal or together with some other things
I will look tomorrow with a multimeter to make sure
Sorry to correct but "pins" refers to holes. No matter the thickness. 14 holes=14 pins
I used to work at Delphi, making the cables for cars, I know how they called
Those empty holes are there for a reason, might be because of missed features or just for production cost. They do use this...
I don't think. It doesn't throw any error with it attached on the + and grounded on the car. I just want it to work without the original bulb. Only the strip
That's why I need to know if the turn signal has a ground in that 14 pin connector that is only ground for turn signal, nothing else
You do have a sticker and on some headlight is printed on plastic like a number that tell them if they are ITP/MOT/TÜV compliant
They can definetelly see. That's the only reason I don't buy these. I have a friend who bought AKD for A6 and he was pulled over in Germany for a normal checkup. He...
So, I got them working. For whoever is trying to do this aswell
All you need is the door knob with the part number 8V0959565A (or D for Chrome knob)
Your mirrors are already heated and the door control unit is also right. Mine is 5Q0959393A driver door and 5Q0959392A passager door. They are like...
So, guys. Are those the only coding needed?
Or is it because outside is around 28° and that's why is not showing in the efficiency program in DIS? Or it doesn't have to show to work?
K-electronic (same as Kufatec) says that the door control unit is the right one, supports the heating feature. I did a test through OBD11 without any errors but I couldn't really feel the heat because the test takes like 5-6 seconds only.
And in the "live data" channel I can see that it turns to...
