I’ve gone with the DS performance, think your 100% right with Bedding in ,I’ve read loads about guys warming em up then standing on em from insane speeds … asked the guys who fitted em for me and they recommended the slow a gentle approach as this is what they use when they fit new Discs and pads...
Agreed our roads are total spine breakers,my local council has decided to save money on repairing the huge number of potholes and spending it on building more speed humps ,if you want to fill the arches to the max ,19s + spacers + drop :thumbs up:
100% Reyland had fronts fitted last month matched with Ferodo performance pads for me pfl ….trying to remember his name who helped me out it’s T em em :thumbs up:
glad I stuck it out for car with Mag ,some of roads now are absolute trash and personally find it does make a difference being able to stick it in comfort for the worst of em ….used to have pfl A45 with the non adjustable AMG performance suspension, got to be nightmare with our roads in Britain...
Did a WBAC price last night out of interest as well,2016 Sportback not saloon 31k miles on clock ,nearly chocked on my beer
£33500 …. Do they all know something I don’t :sign omg:
Although they look fab it’s Absolute personal preference,I certainly wouldn’t put SS seats at top of list when hunting for a 2nd hand RS,whereas if it didn’t have the Dynamic pack ,pan roof or Bose that would Deffo stop the parting of $$$$
As with any car I suppose, make sure the history and mileage matches up most important had all the right oil changes (haldex ect) can’t really pinpoint any particular faults ,they like going through Front Disks and pads ,Browse the Forum mate then you can see what problems Folks have had :thumbs...
Absolutely mate ,was close to boiling point with noise from me old ones ,was getting embarrassing with the slow crawl stop especially now with the warm weather windows down sunroof open
Snap, brought my pfl 26k on the clock last May at the end of the 1st lockdown from an Audi Dealership 3-4 grand under book value …was that worried put it straight in to an Indi to have it checked out lol …do think last year that lot of dealerships where going into panic mode what with the COVID...
Mine are still the Audi wavy ones, can’t stand the noise now plus they’ve now got small step in so was a no brainer really to put back on a quality set Discs that’s been tried and tested couldn’t see the point of spending ££££ for the oem disks only to faced with same problems..
Spoke with Trevor last week when ordering the DS performance pads, and he thinks the shims are only needed for the facelift not the Pfl ,I’ve ordered em them anyways just in case …we’re see when I Get em fitted …. I’ve gone with the Reyland Disks for the front which came last week can’t praise...
Yup,mine has to be set to left to work, but if you have the mirror set to high for normal driving it doesn’t tilt on reverse it’s like it gets adjusted past a certain point, strange my BMW used to do same !!!
Yes mate they came straight out of the box like it ,they blamed transportation when I sent photos because all the alloys had been checked and passed before being sent.believe me these marks aren’t from transportation .
Just can’t understand why they’re being so @rsey about it .
That’s why it’s...
Just wanna give you heads up guys and word of warning before dealing and ordering with this company direct ,if there is problems with the alloys they really have no interest in rectifying it with warranty being as much use as a chocolate tea pot !!!! Always use a indie ...
now having to contact...
