    Rough Idle vacuum leak?

So the revs bounce around on idle slightly - so far have done new plugs and new PCV. Get a code of P0518 which suggest idle air control valve or vaccum leak. My boost gauge has also stopped showing boost level when driving so a leak would make sense but don't know where to start to check - any...

    Crankshaft sensor replacement

Hi - was going to change this today to see if it fixes my starting issue but having removed the under try looks like have to remove oil filter to do it. Don’t really want to do an oil change just to change the sensor but is this the only way? Car is 2006 s3.

    HPFP failure/testing

I removed the bleed valve and then turned the ignition to the first click and fuel came out in a nice stream so it’s making it that far - would this suggest the pump is knackered?

    Fans

I’m no expert but from when I did a lot of monitoring and logging on mine the temp gauge often read 90 a good 10 minutes before the actual coolant was at temp. Think I’ve read it works on a range of circa 15 degrees either way so could show 90 when it’s only at 75 for example

    Fans

Had fan issues myself for months and after lots of trial and error replaced them as it was the module. But yes the larger fan should come on at 92 degrees I believe - are you using the temp in the car or logging the actual temp of the coolant?

    Weird radiator fan behaviour

As in the one in the big fan? I did wonder just confused as they work sometimes so thought they’d either work or not at all if that was faulty?
