May have just popped off internally. I wouldn’t wait whilst it’s dripping fluid everywhere. Just remove the long flap inside the tailgate and there’s two screws. The whole internal panel pops off then with a trim removal tool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Common problem in most vag cars I think. It will start getting worse like mine did, and eventually fail all the time. Just needs the fuel flap actuator replacing. You may get lucky with wd40 but just don’t go there, it will fail again :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
