So I’ve been quoted £3,500 which is for rear quarter repair and respray, back bumper respray and a new alloy. It’s going through the insurance and I’m down as been liable as I was merging into the left lane. Just the excess which I’m having to pay. Live and learn I guess.

This evening I was involved in a minor collision, wondering what sort of cost it’ll be or if it’s worth going through insurance to get it sorted. Gutted as I’ve not had the car even 2 months.

S3 doesn’t come with the Matrix Light unit like on the Edition 1s and RS3 so no it wouldn’t spell out S3. (I know it use to be an option a while ago but it’s now been removed, unless they’ve brought it back)

How to you actually reset the MMI? Every time I hold the top right nothing happens or the screen just turns off but doesn’t reset it.

It seems to work on the earlier software. I spoke to the customer support and they had said they will be working to get it running on the latest software versions of the car. Sure you’d be able to do it through VCDS but that’s expensive to get.

I rarely do them to be honest unless I’m going away with my partner. I wouldn’t pay that either. I had it before on a VW and it was terrible.

Unlimited ACC is 801 euro I thought it was cheaper than that.

I’m using OBDeleven, guessing your using something else.

Hopefully they fix it for the new software as I’ve spent money on the device and the subscription package.

That’s unfortunate hopefully they fix it for the new software. Is there any steps I’m missing, I open the bonnet, turn on ignition, connect to the app, do the steps require but still nothing.

What MMI software are you running as I’m running 3611 and it doesn’t work.

I’m finding it great, still getting use to it as this is my first auto in a car of my own. It’s very smooth from my opinion but overall I love the car and it was 100% worth the wait.

It’s cost £330 with PPF on the B pillars. That included a stage 1 polish before applying the ceramic coat. It was actually shocking how bad it was for a new car under the specialist light. The images of the wing mirror are before and after which the detailer sent me. The car hadn’t been cleaned...
