Thanks for sharing the info! Think you're the first I've read that has sourced the repair themselves with a modified car. By shredding was your pump already damaged? Or is that from taking it out.

Also side note, assuming if your car came back after update with no fault. Does this mean your pump is not the faulty one? Would it possibly come loose or 'out of tolerance' down the line and error out? Because I think I've read 1 or 2 cases where someone has had the update and 6 months they had...

What was the mileage on your car when you did the update? and is that the 'repair kit' I've seen mentioned with the new pump and a few other bits? I think I might have to go this route too, don't want to leave it too late and wreck the entire box. That would be a nightmare and it's a huge shame...

Unfortunately in my case, car is ECU + TCU tuned! So I believe it would be detected & wiped.
