My car is a 2004 version of yours, it has Continentals all round at the moment, I'm pretty pleased with them, they do seem to last well. I have to say though I think with the way the turbo comes in etc it will be hard for any tyres to cope pulling away sharply in the wet.

I've just got through my first tank of fuel in my 2004 1.9 TDi 130 Avant, I got 550miles which I am quite pleased with as a lot of my mileage is around town usually. Certainly beats the 320 miles or so I used to get out of my old Avant 2.5 TDi Quatt.

Hmm, maybe they are not Xenon headlamps then, is there a code to look for on the spec sticker, or any other easy way to tell? I'm not sure it is to do with the headlamp levelling- this seems to work, but there is just no noticeable beam pattern to be seen.
