Hi Guys, Got a a4 2.5 tdi cabriolet auto. Lights on the dashboard recently came up and car was taken to Audi who stated the gearbox ecu needed to be changed. Cost - £1300.00. Does anybody know where this could be done cheaper?

Was that 200 quid for both of the front lambdas?

turned out to be faulty front lambda sensors. The front two. The guy at the garage quoted my £400 including fitting!! Is it me or is this far too expensive?

i'm also getting a petrol smell and a whooshing noise everytime i press the accelerator. Is this safe to drive to the garage tomorrow?

Why wud ther b an eggy smell??

Hi guys, got a a3 3.2 v6 dsg. Engine management light has come on, revs are bouncing around on idle and getting a strong eggy smell from engine bay! Any ideas?

this turned out to be the two rear bearings! had them replaced and now ive got a noise whenever i go over a bump. Any ideas, gona take it bak to the independant garage i had it done

Hi Guys, Got a 53 plate a3 3.2 v6 Q. I have been having an issue with a scraping noise coming from the rear from the while but now its got really bad. Somebody on the forum suggested the rear brakes and i got the garage to change the rear disks and pads but the noise is still there but...

I'm gona have a look when I get bak this afternoon. Do u knw hw I can test the bearing considerin it's a quattro? Thanks

This noise is constantly there now? its coming from the rear passengers side, i reckon it could be a wheel bearing because the grinding noise is there when im braking too. any ideas?

the problem was a faulty exhaust. Dealer replaced at no cost to me :blow:

I've got a problem with my DSG 3.2Q guys. When i first move off when the car has been parked for a while the car makes a sort of grinding noise from the rear. This carries on for a very short time a goes away. I've also had a very annoying squeek from the brakes when i brake at low speeds...

The noise happens when the car is in motion!! Took it to Audi and they said its the exhaust which needs replacing!

Ok, am I going mad or does everybody's a3 3.2 dsg make a clicking noise from the underside of the car just as you move off and go through the gears??? I've read somewhere that this may be a characteristic of the car... Someone?

Picked up an A3 DSG 3.2 yesterday. Bit of an issue with the exhaust it seems. When I seem to accelerate hard from when I am stationary or when I go through the gears hard the car makes a noise from the exhaust. Seems Like a flap going up and down noise??? The car dosent make the noise while...
