Mine doesn't do this either !! I think the S3s with the dodgy electrics are the ones that do it. :-)

I assume it is the fan in the engine, otherwise the recall would either be cars with climate or cars without I guess? I don't actually know but that would be my take on it.

Ok, an update for you all! Dealer called to say car is ready, re the recall, it needs a new blower motor so that's on order and the ECU was done. As I thought as per my last post, the blower motor seems be be an A3/S3/TT issue.

I never thought someone could be snobby about tyre dressing but God was I wrong !!! If you're going to use a product that dries in then it defeats the whole purpose of using tyre dressing. Must be why people who detail Ferraris and Veyrons use tyre dressing so !

270 miles out of a tank on a good run and I drive it HARD!

In ROI some bright spark decided we would not get 98 RON anymore so I have no choice but to run my S3 on 95. It runs fine with it to be honest although I have nothing to compare it to.
