    Will a 3dr rear silencer fit a 5dr?

    Hi, I have a 2001 1.6 sport 5dr AVU that needs a rear silencer. there is one on ebay but it is from a 3dr AKL. does anyone know if this will fit? the parts database in the stickies suggests it will. cheers, Kevin

    Outer CV Joints, same across a3 / golf platforms?

    i need a new o/s outer cv joint for my 2001 A3 1.6 sport AVU my question is, are these outer joints the same accross all A3s and golfs etc or do they differ from model to model? My driveshaft is the 30mm 12 point nut version if it makes any difference Or would i be better to just get a brand...
