I used a garage with a proper snap on scanner/programming tool. The method listed above may be just as good though but I’ve never tried it. I can safely say my car is still driving fine anyway.

I’m using the standard 245/35 size as I think the slightly bigger sidewall when using the 255’s is noticeable and makes the wheels look smaller. I fitted spacers instead to fill the arches out a bit. 12mm on the rears and 10mm on the fronts.

Have you run your hand around your tyres to see if there is any stepping in the tread pattern. I had a similar problem on my old B7 and a change of tyres on the back sorted it instantly

I have 10mm front and 12mm rear on my 19” multi spoke jobbies. Just the right combination I think and perfectly hub centric. I got them from a place called “the tyre shop” in north london. No vibration issues at all.

Well so far I can say that it’s isn’t…. the throttle position sensor The inlet manifold The map sensor The spark plugs The coil packs Or anything like the air filter etc. Next thing I’ll be trying will either be the turbo or some custom mapping.

Sooo the map sensor didn’t make any difference. I have however found that at idle, the impeller on my turbo doesn’t spin. Does anyone know if it should? The turbo is tiny so plenty of air passes through (or I would think anyway) at idle.
