I am not even going to pursue the Audi route. I was aware of the risks and just think I have been unfortunate to have broken a gearbox as there are many others running similar power and some running even more with Stage 3 on the standard gearbox.

I tried to extend the Audi warranty but it wasnt offered at the time of purchase and it had disappeared from their website when I looked at some point in March last yr. Even with warranty I’m sure the mapping would void it anyway.

I have the same brake setup as boydie. I wanted to go big brake kit but don't track it more than once per year so went for the clubsports mainly for the weight saving and slightly better looks.

The S3 sits lower than A3.... I think the S-Line might be the same as S3 though

I didn't think you'd need a DSG tune unless you go to Stage 2.

@larbel - Do you know the part number for the PFL actuator for a 2015 S3 8v?

How did this happen and how long to diagnose? On the face of it this would seem like an easy fix.

I was out on Sunday and attempted to overtake a slow driver and all of a sudden lost power, car went into limp mode, EPC light came on and the car sounded a bit Subaru-esque. I switched off, waited a few mins and then back on again... No EPC light... (phew). I started driving and it was fine...

I only stayed for an hour as so I didn't get to speak to many of you. My car was covered in dust afterwards so I am glad I didn't spend too long cleaning it the day before. See you all at AITP

Mine kept jamming so I had to use the red cord when filling up in the petrol station. Fortunately it was replaced under warranty. Some how it would've been £210 if I had to pay.

Thanks for the recommendation... What is the NVH like with it? I've read mixed reviews on the metal inserts (some buckling, others adding vibration etc)

What's the benefit of these plugs? My car runs great on standards so what difference will I notice?
