Why is it you sometime get 2 lit up segments around the speedo when using ACC? I understand the higher one is the target speed buts what's the lower one for (that's not always there).

In my 8P S3 my AMI is in the glovebox and my iPod stays in there connected all the time. I have not moved it from there for about 18 months. AFAIK the AMI connection is in the armrest on the 8V? So this means i wont be able to keep my iPod connected all the time as it would be a security risk...
