I just make sure it's had a good detail prior to the winter months, apply a good protective coating.. Then all I do is blast it with the power washer now and then. Nobody expects a spanking car in this weather really. And as above, now and then use a QD.. It's good enough for the winter IMO...

I just got a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's.. I asked about them before, what people thought, decided to go for them and they're spot on.. Even with this weather (rain,snow), they're very good grip..

To be fair though I haven't seen a whole lot with them.. :-/ Just needs dropping 30mm or so now, the stance came out near enough spot on first time..

For mirror caps it's brushed aluminium you want, not chrome..! For a back box delete, straight pipe fitted instead and new tail pipes I was quoted £140. Or for a milltek back box and tail pipes £200.

Mate eBay is all over it. Just type in 'A3 8P' or 'S3 8P'.. You'll find shed loads there reference all your wanted upgrades! If not try eBay.de Hope this helps :-)

Mine did that on my previous A3 mate. It got me flashed up cos I couldn't turn it off but then one day it just worked normal.. :-/
