    Revo Select Plus Switch Help

Thanks for reply, I don't have VCDS, but based on your reply just switched ECU from performance to stock mode, still got the same problem, so looks like I'll have to try disconnecting/reconnecting battery tonight and see if that clears it.

    Revo Select Plus Switch Help

I've been running the Stage 2+ upgrade on my S3 for a couple of months with no problems. Last weekend I decided to get the select plus switch out of its box and have a go at adjusting settings using the switch with a PC rather than as stand alone switch. ECU settings were B6 T5 F7 so just...

    My AMDEssex Makeover

Ben You've hit the nail on the head, whilst the headline figures are amazing, its the difference I'm experiencing that counts. I'm obviously pleased with the results, but think I'll be needing clutch sooner rather than later.

    T888 or alternative

:iagree:I loved the Goodyear F1 directionals, but switched to Paradas when I couldn't get on with F1 asymetrics. Paradas don't inspire confidence in the wet or cold and I shan't be using them for any winter track days, great when you can get heat into them and relatively hard wearing

New discs and pads needed - recommendations please

I've had problems with dust pick-up on several track days, last but one track day I also warped front discs. These were changed under warrenty by Audi! but I have subsequently fitted a set of yellowstuff pads, last track day no dust pick-up or fade, and no problems in day to day use. Got them...

    My AMDEssex Makeover

Now been running setup for nearly a fortnight, and haven't experienced any flutter

    My AMDEssex Makeover

None taken, and sorry if it came across that way My thinking and DeckedS3's graphs seem to support that HPFP and 2+ mainly result in removing/smoothing mid-range dip, i'll probably go this route when I have to get clutch done, not because I'm necessarily after more power, but because I don't...

    My AMDEssex Makeover

S,R88PER,Iggu and S3Alex I can understand your scepticism of the figures, both runs are significantly higher than I had ever anticipated, I can’t recall seeing any posts with Stage 2 to Stage 2+ dyno run comparisons, but you will see from the graphs below I have a mid range dip which I assume...

    My AMDEssex Makeover

Firstly thanks to just017 for kicking off the group-buy. Having recently fitted a Forge CAI and DV I went to AMD last Wednesday to have a full resonated Milltek system fitted and a REVO stage 2 map. Agreed to have the first dyno run after Milltek fitted to save waiting for existing system to...

    S3 questions....

Quick update - now done 1500 miles since fitting yellowstuff pads. No squeal and dusting no worse than OEM pads in everyday use, although initially a little bit 'wooden' when cold performance always excellent. 188 trackday miles last Saturday, no fade and dust pick-up problems disappeared. IMHO...

    S3 questions....

After problems with warped discs and pad deposits on discs I shall be fitting some yellowstuff pads this weekend, but won't know how they perform until after next track day beginning of October

My brakes are vibrating, and it's not the good kind :(

phil76 appears you were right I’d already ordered some Yellowstuff Pads, but Car went to dealer's on Friday for routine service, and I was advised front pads 80% worn and discs warped(pads only changed 12,000 ago!) They then volunteered to change discs under warranty, with the only cost to me...

My brakes are vibrating, and it's not the good kind :(

I've ruled out wheels and tyres by using a different set at last track day. Discs could be the cause, but pads seemed more likely due to heavy pad deposits on discs (and cheaper option to try first) cheers Paul

My brakes are vibrating, and it's not the good kind :(

I never had this problem with original set of pads, but since having them changed by local audi dealer about a year ago my S3 has suffered badly with pad deposits on discs (as previous pictures) at every track day since. Whilst the brakes don't appear to fade I'm getting vibration and deposits...

Hi Is the Induction kit with black hoses still available, and do you still stock the 'hydroshield' bag referred to in posts about a year ago? I also want a forge remote diverter valve, so would be grateful if you could PM me prices and ordering details. cheers Paul
