Hi. I, looking at buying a '53 1.9 tdi A4 avant and came across one that was cheap. The reason for this is that there is an issue with the automatic gearbox. The chap said it is snatching from standstill - sometimes. Any ideas on the problem?? Is it worth buying? Cheers

The stat is from eBay! The first one was from GSF! Yeah heaters blow hot!!

Yeah it's annoying me aswell. Especially as it's using more fuel!!! Lol I just find it strange that the wires for the temp sender and n75 run in the same plastic sheaf and they're both playing up!!

hey all! I changed my stat and temp sender about 6 months ago and since doing so the gauge only occasionly reads anything. Most of the time it sits at 60 and wont move but occasionaly it starts to go up then drops back again. I changed the temp sender again a few days ago but it still wont...

What else could it be down to??? It is standard, as far as I know, just an air filter and a forge DV.

If it is the N75, is there a way to check it, i.e a multimeter or disconect it.

There was some fault codes. camshaft position sensor secondary air injection system n75 clutch switch I recorded the log in 4th gear. I recorded some more logs tonight - see below!! Also checked faults - just camshaft position sensor!! The car didn't seem as jerky as it was last run but...

My S3 failed the MOT on brake discs and few other things. My question is if i replace the discs do i need new pads??? the pads on at the mo have only done a few hundred miles. thanks in advance
