DMF vibration at tickover has started to appear and seems to be getting more regular - it was horrible in M25 jam on Friday. In a 2002 A6 manual Quattro Avant will it be Sachs or Luk? Does it matter or is Sachs the best for the job? As well as doing full clutch and DMF is there anything else...

My indicators decided to stay on instead of flashing about a week ago, so removed the trim etc and gave the flasher unit a bit of a tap/clout and then the indicators work fine but the relay in the unit would rapidly click when indicators were cancelled and randomly at other times - over bumps...

Anybody know if S3 Recaros from '52 plate will fit straight into '52 plate A6 Avant - if not what alterations will be needed? I'm assuming that Recaro made the same seats and they were used in S3's and RS4's and RS6's? any help gratefully received from those in the know:yes:

Hi, i've got symphony 2 in 2002 A6 and it works fine in all respects except will never receive AM. I've tried this in loads of different areas and never works. FM works fine as does CD and cassette - anybody had this or any ideas what it could be? thanks Graham

On many forums there is discussion about A4 owners swapping rear bars for RS4 ones - does anyone know if this is possible with RS6 bars - onto my 2.5 Tdi Quattro Avant? I can't find any references for this mod for the A6 - maybe there's a good reason for this:think:

I've a 2003 2.5 TDi Avant quattro and the rear discs are due for replacement, so looking at after market Brembo site I see there were 245mm and 255mm diameter discs for this model - this explains the rust on the outside edge of current discs, which are 255mm but should be 245mm. :sadlike...

As I said on fjtwelve's classic thread about his mega upgrade, I was at Awesome GTI on saturday with SeatCupra.net and saw the A6 on the 4wd rolling road, along with many others. Last time I had a car on a RR it was a 1600 sunbeam at 7000rpm, so the A6 was relaxed at 4500rpm and nowhere...

I'm planning to get both working - I don't like it when manufacturers fit two lights but only have one working! Anybody ever bothered to do this or did any come with two connected as standard?

Just upgraded to A6 avant 2.5 quattro from 95 Passat estate - bit of almost opposite ends of same family!
