What is your offer? I was hoping for around £1000, as that is what I think I could get if I were to sell the bits I can easily remove separately and then the engine/suspension components to a local independent garage who is interested.

just done the compressor fix on my 2004 allroad (seals etc). Problem I have is with the metal dust cover that I had to remove to get to the compressor. Its fixings were so well rusted/corroded etc that the only way I could remove it was to pull it off and "tear" it off its bolts that mount it...
